VPress — vpress.ing
One Pfft a Day. Your daily dose of cinematic absurdity.
VPress is a web terminal that turns one photo of a person into a single cinematic film-still print, framed as a Polaroid, inspired by a current public headline. One photo in, one finished print out.
一张照片,定格今日大片。现实比电影更荒诞,而你是这场剧情的主角。
What it does
- Turns one photo into one cinematic film-still print, saved or shared as a Polaroid card.
- Shows a darkroom-style three-step developing view: your photo, the scene being composited, the finished print.
- Writes the print's title and caption in the visitor's language — nine interface languages.
- Studio mode builds the scene first and then places the person inside it, for a tighter composition.
- Keeps finished prints in a private film library where each print can be public or private.
- Shares to X with a pre-filled post; VPress never posts on your behalf.
What it never does
- No intimate, sexual or non-consensual imagery of any real person. AI NCII (non-consensual intimate imagery, including deepfakes) is strictly prohibited and blocked.
- No depiction of minors.
- Photos are used once to produce the print and are not kept afterwards.
